An Apple a Day / Exposer Split EP ReleaseConcert
An Apple a Day and their rehearsal room buddies Exposer have joined forces to create a unique and limited edition split EP, called Faceless which they will jointly release on March 24 at the Floor of the Rockhal. Their friends in Cosmogon will open the night.
In an attempt to keep the underground spirit alive, this collaboration insists on the importance of friendship and support between local bands. The split reminds the listener what heavy music consists of and stresses its relevance as a form of art and expression.
An Apple a Day is a Death Metal/Deathcore band mixing heavy riffs with atmospheric sounds for one single purpose: to rock the stage! Both Oldschool and modern metal fans should get their kicks from this unruly mixture. After a Demo Fisherman's Friend, released in 2010, they recorded their first Ep called Fall of Thera in 2012, which has been released at the Club of the Rockhal. In 2015, after a creative break, they have found there way back to the stage with two new band members, new influences and new energy. They strive for more, according to the motto "faster, higher, stronger ".
Exposer is a Deathcore/Downtempo band founded in December 2014 and consisting of former members of Falling Promises, Miles to Perdition, as well as current members of An Apple A Day. After one year of hard work, the band released its first track, called 0.6 BLIND, which was mixed and mastered by Jesse Kirkbride at Kirkbride Recordings. As Exposer mainly want to be an intense live experience, the band have been working hard to prepare their very heavy and powerful live set, during which they endeavour to express a set of emotions on edge!
